Jeanne
Champion is a noted French artist, writer and critic. Nominated
an Officier de lOrdre des Arts et des Lettres by the French
Minister of Culture in 2001, Jeanne Champion began painting in
the early 1960s in Montparnasse with Jean-Claude Bedart and Max
Papart. She has exhibited widely including exhbitions at the
University of Paris, Musée des Arts décoratifs
de Saint Etienne, Salon de Mai Grand Palais in Paris, and the
Galerie Transversale in Paris among many others. Jeanne Champion
is also the author of numerous books including an award-winning
biography of Suzanne Valodon.
