Guy de
Rougemont, a noted French painter, sculptor, and designer, studied
with Marcel Gromaire at l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure
des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. De Rougemont has exhibited
widely, including exhibitions at the Paris Biennial; Venice Biennial;
Salon de Mai, Paris; Galerie du Luxembourg, Paris; Musée
d‘Orsay, Paris; Musée des Arts Décoratifs,
Paris. In 1997 he was elected a member of l'Académie des
Beaux-Arts, Institut de France. In addition, de Rougemont has
produced numerous large-scale sculptures and public art pieces.
He is the subject of many catalogs and monographs.
