Breon
O'Casey

Breon O'Casey,
the son of Irish playwright Sean O'Casey, is a well-known painter,
sculptor, jeweler, and craftsman. Breon O'Casey has lived in
Cornwall, England for many years and is associated with the St.
Ives School of painters and sculptors. In recent years, O'Casey's
work has seen a renewed appreciation with a major retrospective
exhbition at the Royal Hibernian Academy in 2001. He is the subject
of several monographs. Breon O'Casey's work is in major public
collections including the Tate Museum, Trinity College in Dublin,
and the Royal Museum of Scotland. This is a rare, early work.
