Aldemir Martins is one of the great masters of Brazilian art of the last century. In Fall 2005, Martins was the subject of a major retrospective at the Museo de Art de Sao Paulo. Martins participated in numerous Sao Paulo biennials, the Venice Biennial, and countless major international exhibitions. He is one of the most beloved artists of Brazil.
