Kenneth Campbell

1913-1986

Kenneth Campbell studied at the Massachusetts College of Art, the Art Student's League, and the National Academy. Known primarily as a sculptor and Provincetown artist, Campbell was a highly regarded abstract painter in the 1940s and '50s, exhibiting at the Museum of Non-Objective Art, Norlyst Gallery in New York, Margaret Brown Gallery in Boston, and the Provincetown Art Association. He began focusing on sculpture in the 1950s and continuted to exhibit at major venues and galleries, including the Whitney, Grand Central Moderns, and the Camino Gallery.
